Mobile Equine Programs

 

RoseWal Farm provides Mobile Equine Assisted Therapy services as well as Equine Assisted Therapy sessions at farms using our horses or yours.

 

The practice of using horses as a treatment tool in therapy sessions, is a non-traditional approach and one that has been growing in recognition and popularity recently. It is common to hear about programs incorporating it with behavioral issues, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, relationship problems and communication skills. In order to remain on the cutting-edge of treatment approaches, this program is capable of bringing something unique to your facility or organization.

The interest in this modality is growing in our area and RoseWal Farm is willing to work with you to start and build an Equine Assisted Therapy program that will entice people seeking this type of treatment or service. The program season would be able to start in June and run through November/December each year, weather permitting.

Initial set-up on-site is either a round pen or fenced area for sessions to be held. Round pens can be rented or purchased. Rental of round pens requires a term commitment.

RoseWal Farm will provide a licensed therapist, an equine specialist and two horses transported to/from the facility. If the organization/facility were to provide a staff therapist to perform the role of the therapist for these sessions that would reduce the overall cost of the services provided. RoseWal Farm would then provide an equine specialist and two horses transported to/from the facility.
